| November 10-11, 2012. Bowling Green, Ohio - The 27th Annual George Miller Sr. Tournament welcomed more than 50 handballers from four (4) countries (U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Ireland). A purse of over $1200 was distributed to the winners and finalists in a number of divisions. Contributions were made to the USHA First Ace Youth Program in the name of each cash prize recipient. |
| Lake Forest College sophomore, Daniel Cordova won the Open Singles and was a finalist in Open Doubles along with partner Matthew Chu also of Lake Forest. Ryan Bowler and Jim Karner won the Open Doubles championship. |
| Over 80 players and guests enjoyed a fabulous banquet at Scrambler's Marie in Perrysburg, cold LaBatt's beer, and great food for everyone! |
| Great hospitality was provided by the members of the Toledo Handball Club. Special thanks to Dave Revenaugh for running the control desk on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks to all members for assistance in running the tournament. Thanks to Nick Lowe for enhancing the tournament polo shirts with his handiwork. Special thanks to THC members, Shain and Phil Buerk who graciously opened their restaurant (Scrambler's Marie) for the Saturday evening banquet. |
